Why we hold PRINT CHINA in Guangdong Province? |
According to the statistics of 2004, there are more than 92,000 printing enterprises hiring about 3.5 million employees in China, the turnover of the printing has reached 280 billion RMB or 35 billion US Dollars, one third of which, was made by the 15,000 enterprises in Guangdong Province. Taking the publishing and printing industries of Hong Kong into account, the turnover in the Pearl-River Delta has reached 16 billion US Dollars. Guangdong Province has become the largest printing and packaging base in China, which is now expanding at an average annual rate of 16%. At the same time, a World Printing & Packing Center is growing up in this area.
The Pan-Pearl-River Delta, including nine provinces of South China (Fujian, Jiangxi, Hunan, Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan, Sichuan, Guizhou, Yunnan) and two Special Administrative Regions (Hong Kong & Macao), has 1.99 million square kilometers, 20.78% of Chinese territory, and more than 446 million people, 34.76% of Chinese population. Its GDP has reached 555 billion US Dollars. The Pan-Pearl-River Delta has been regarded as a very impressive economic circle. With the establishment of China-ASEAN Free Trade Zone (so-called"10+1"), together with the Pan-Pearl-River Delta, a huge free economic zone will emerge. The Guangdong Province, adjacent to the Southeast Asia and geographically the center of the region, will play a more active role.
Considering the developing status expressed above, in order to meet the huge demand of the market, PEIAC, CIEC and GPRIA decide to hold Print China, an international printing technology exhibition, every 4 years, in Dongguan, a new developing city, between Guangzhou and Shenzhen, Guangdong province, China.
Brief introduction to Print China 2007
Print China, as the companion show of China Print held in Beijing mainly aiming at the market of South China, Southeast and South Asia, will celebrate once every four years starting from the year of 2007. Exhibitors from all over the world will be invited to the exhibition and it is estimated that more than 100,000 clients and professional visitors mainly from Southeast Asia, South Asia, Australia, Middle East, South of China (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) and Middle and West of China will call on this event. Print China 2007 will be a tremendous printing show with 50,000square meters and will be of excellent effectiveness.
Special Features of Print China 2007
Print China 2007 will be serving the largest and most promising market in the world. Guangdong Province is one of the most prosperous areas in China, which has the strong economic radiating function.
A right show in right place and on right time. Historically, there is no large and significant professional show held in Pearl-River delta. With the fast development of this area as one of the most important printing and packaging centers in Asia-Pacific region, to hold an ideal trade and exchange platform has become a necessity. Meanwhile, Print China 2007 will be the only brand event held in the first half of the year for the world industries to pay their attention to.
Print China 2007 with hundreds of exhibitors covering the exhibition space of 50,000 sqm will bring together all the pieces of printing process and total solution for the production.
A series of summit will concentrate on new printing and packaging technologies, trade possibilities and how to build up a world printing and packaging center in this region.
Special efforts will be made to facilitate the effectiveness of transaction and trade among the exhibitors and visitors.
1. Organizers will cooperate closely with the industrial organizations in this region to invite domestic and international buyers to visit Print China 2007.
2. News and progress of Print China 2007 will be spread through intensive marketing campaign, including advertisement, direct mailing, press conferences, etc.
3. Details of the exhibits will be advised to the buyers before the opening of the show to improve the efficiency of the show.
Dongguan, a rising star in China, known as an important global processing and manufacturing base, has been conferred on the title of “China's Most Dynamic Economic City” and “China's Excellent Tourist City” in 2004. Its modern exhibition facilities, convenient traffic conditions, favourable business environment and charming landscape make Dongguan the ideal venue to hold this international show.
